First Time Travel with Baby
The hardest thing about taking
our babies on their first big trip is that no matter how much we plan,
there is always an unexpected flight delay or explosive diaper to make
us wish we had just stayed home. We can't control your airline or your
baby's digestion, but we can try to help you be better prepared for
those not-so-welcome moments with a couple of great products with
traveling mamas and their babies in mind.
For Mom
JJ
Cole's Travel Pod Set wins our vote for their clever and stylish trio of
must-have-within-reach items: a small pacifier pod, an insulated bottle
pod, and a handy diaper and wipes pod that lets you tote just enough
diapers to get your from Point A to Point B. We love that the PVC and
Phthalates-free laminated canvas fabric comes in cool, modern designs
that are super easy to clean since we firmly believe that everything in a
baby's life should be wash-and-go.
With handles that attach the
pods anywhere, all you have to remember is that the pacifier pod is
clipped to your belt, the bottle pod is hanging from your diaper bag and
the diapers and wipes pod is nestled neatly inside your carry-on bag.
Or something like that.

For Baby
We've all gotten stuck on
a backed-up runway or stalled in highway traffic when our babes decide
they want something to eat and they want it NOW. With ZoLi's On-the-Go
Formula and Snack Dispenser, snack time is within arm's reach with its
four snap-together compartments, each holding either finger food or up
to five scoops of formula. And we're just as relieved to know that there
will be no BPA's or Phthalates served with those Cheerios.
At a
substantial 8" tall, we have no problem locating the container even in
the bag stowed beneath our seat. We also appreciate that the sections
come apart so that we can just take a couple of them with us on shorter
jaunts. Although, knowing the unpredictable nature of travel, take all
four, just in case.
