If you can plan your trip in San Diego on the second Friday of the month, then be sure to go to Little Italy, downtown.  Sip wine and stroll through artists’ open studios alongside the city’s art enthusiasts. It’s all part of Kettner Nights (soon to be NoLI Notte)  when Little Italy’s art and design district comes alive.

For a low-key night of jazz, Dizzy’s is the answer. Located inside the San Diego Wine & Culinary Center, directly across the street from the San Diego Convention Center, this is a sultry-cool place to listen to music and sip local wines, surrounded by atmospheric bottles and barrels.
